Submit Your Proxy Site
Rules
Read the rules. Follow the rules. You will be blocked from submitting links if you deliberately, or consistently, break the rules.
- Only submit actual working web proxy sites. Sites which are not web proxy sites will be rejected - even if they are proxy related.
- Your proxy site must be on its own domain - not a sub-domain, or a sub-directory. The domain name may only include a single dot - so country code extensions are not allowed (eg. proxysite.info would be ok, but proxysite.com.au would not).
- The proxy script for your site must be on the same domain as the site. It can be in a sub-directory, but cannot be on another domain.
- The proxy form for your site must be clearly visible on the site's home page, and must be easily accessible and usable. No action should be required for a visitor to see the form, apart from a reasonable need to vertically scroll the browser window. Note that some scripts require an action to see the option checkboxes for the proxy form - this is permitted.
- Your proxy site must not contain any malicious or offensive content, or link to such content. The main users of proxy sites are teenagers, so only content that is suitable for viewing by teenagers should be present.
- The home page (domain index page) of your proxy site must include a visible link back to this site, using the reciprocal linking code below. The code must not be modified, or the recip checker script will not recognize it. The code must appear directly in the page source of the home page, and must not be obscured in any way (except by a reasonable need to vertically scroll the browser window). Placing the code in a frame or marquee is not permitted. Using ANY method to make it difficult for a visitor to view or click the recip link is not permitted.
Reciprocal linking code to add to your proxy site (required)
(Make sure you add this code to your proxy site's main page BEFORE you submit the site.)
Note that the recip link checker script will regularly check for the presence of the recip code on your site. If the code is not found, then your site will be temporarily removed from the proxy list, and multiple additional checks will be performed over several days. If the code is not found within a reasonable timespan, then it will be permanently removed from the proxy list, and will not be able to be re-listed. Frequent issues with the recip code being temporarly not found will result in your site being flagged for manual review.
